How it runs
Intercompany balances in one report
Loans, management fees and recharges between group companies show on the intercompany report, so you can match both sides before you close.
Consolidated statements
Run a consolidated P&L, balance sheet and cash flow across the group, or for any set of companies you choose.
Controls across the group
Roles and permissions per company, approval of bills, purchase orders, claims and payments over your limit, two-step sign-in and a full audit log of who changed what.
A month at a family holding group (example)
- Say the group has a holding company, a trading company and a contracting company, each registered for VAT on its own.
- The holding company lends SAR 500,000 to the trading company. The loan is posted in both sets of books: a receivable in the holding company, a payable in the trading company.
- The holding company invoices each subsidiary a monthly management fee of SAR 20,000 plus 15% VAT of SAR 3,000, so SAR 23,000 each. Each invoice is a ZATCA Phase 2 e-invoice, usually cleared like any other business invoice; if the companies form a VAT group, agree the treatment with your tax adviser.
- At month end the intercompany report shows the trading company owing SAR 523,000 and the contracting company owing SAR 23,000 to the holding company, and both sides agree.
- The holding company's USD bank account is revalued at the month-end rate. You then run the consolidated statements for the group, and each company still has its own P&L and VAT return.

VAT and e-invoicing for group companies
Each company keeps its own VAT settings and prepares its own VAT return from its books at 15%. Invoices between group companies are usually issued and cleared like any other business invoice; inside a VAT group they may be out of scope, so agree the treatment with your tax adviser.
Aqid ERP implements ZATCA Phase 2 e-invoicing: UBL 2.1 XML, XAdES signature and QR code, with clearance for business invoices and reporting for simplified ones. Once your device is connected, each invoice is cleared or reported to ZATCA as it is issued.
If your companies are registered with ZATCA in a different way, for example as a VAT group, confirm the set-up with your adviser before you go live.

Can I manage several companies under one login?
Yes, up to 3 companies on Growth and 25 on Premium. Each company has its own ledger, VAT registration, banks and payroll, and you switch between them without signing out. Starter covers one company.
Does Aqid ERP produce consolidated statements?
Yes, on Growth and Premium. Run a consolidated P&L, balance sheet and cash flow across the group, with intercompany reports showing balances between companies. Consolidation is a report, without posted eliminations.
Are invoices between group companies ZATCA Phase 2 compliant?
They are issued as Phase 2 e-invoices (UBL 2.1 XML, XAdES signature, QR code), usually cleared like any other business invoice; inside a VAT group, agree the treatment with your tax adviser. Aqid ERP is tested against ZATCA's published rules, and its listing in ZATCA's solution-provider directory is in progress.
Does each company run its own payroll with GOSI and Mudad?
Yes. Payroll runs per company, with GOSI contributions, the Mudad WPS salary file and end-of-service accruals.
Can I connect our own dashboard or other systems?
Yes, through the public API on Growth and Premium.
