Muscat's service companies and SMEs keep books in rials to three decimals, prepare a 5% VAT return for the Tax Authority and pay Social Protection Fund contributions for Omani staff. Aqid ERP does those from one ledger. It is not yet connected to the Tax Authority's Fawtara e-invoicing, and says so.
Sohar's port and free zone make, store and ship industrial goods. Aqid ERP keeps each warehouse's stock as its own account, posts production at weighted average cost, keeps export sales apart from local ones on the VAT return and runs the payroll with Social Protection Fund contributions. It has no customs module, and says so.
