Income tax (Oman)

Oman's tax on company profits: 15%, or 3% for small enterprises that meet every condition, filed once a year.

In Arabic: ضريبة الدخل (عُمان)

Meaning

Oman's Income Tax Law charges establishments and commercial companies 15% of net taxable income. A small enterprise pays 3% when it meets every condition: registered capital of no more than OMR 60,000, gross income for the year of no more than OMR 150,000, no more than 25 workers, and an activity that is not professional.

The annual return is filed, and the tax paid, within four months of the year's end at 15% and within three months at 3%. Late payment adds 1% a month; late filing can bring a fine of OMR 100 to OMR 2,000. Multinational groups have a separate top-up tax under Royal Decree 70/2024.
